The Phoenix New Times recently interviewed vocalist and guitarist Masaki Murashita of Hemoptysis. The band talked about their new music video for the song “M.O.D.”, inspiration behind the song, and more. Click here to check out the interview.

The video, for the track “M.O.D.”, taken from their album Misanthropic Slaughter was shot in September, 2011 in an abandon warehouse in Vail, AZ. Production and direction came courtesy of Sean Sinerius and Robert Jaime at Big Shot Studios, who previously worked with HEMOPTYSIS on the “Shadow of Death” video.

    Hemoptysis Release Video For ‘M.O.D.’

    Arizona thrashers HEMOPTYSIS have released a music video for the track “M.O.D.,” taken from their latest album Misanthropic Slaughter. The video was shot earlier this month in an abandon warehouse in Vail, AZ. Production and direction came courtesy of Sean Sinerius and Robert Jaime at Big Shot Studios.     HEMOPTYSIS guitarist/vocalist Masaki Murashita made this statement about the video, “We are very excited to release the video for “M.O.D.” We shot the video in Vail, Arizona with Big Shot Studios, the same company that filmed “Shadow of Death.” We had a blast shooting this video and we hope our fans enjoy it.”

        Hemoptysis have announced a weekend tour that features 3 dates from Arizona, to Wyoming. A promotional video including live clips of the band can be viewed here. Hemoptysis are touring in support of their debut album “Misanthropic Slaughter” available now on iTunes, and Amazon, and in stores throughout Europe via Rock It Up Records.
